Welcome!
I am Juhoon (Julie) Lee, a second year Ph.D. student at KAIST School of Computing. I am working with Prof. Joseph Seering in Collaborative Social Technologies Lab (CSTLπ°).
My research centers on Trust and Safety, specifically in the field of contextualized localization across cultures and decentralized governance in online communities. I aim to create a framework for fostering safer, more inclusive, and culturally attuned online environments. By centering community voices and local norms, my work seeks to bridge global standards of safety with the diversity of lived online experiences.
